Questions & Answers
Question:Can the hemFree rug be used on all floor types? Answer: hemFree rug has excellent anti-slip properties, making it particularly suitable for all smooth floor types such as parquet, natural stone, laminate and PVC. In addition, it can be safely used with hydronic underfloor heating and damp rooms - the rug does not cause stains or discoloration.
Question:There are some loose fibres in the edge of the rug. Is this rug defective? Answer: Based on the new generation technology hemFree rug layers and weft yarns are firmly fixed to each other. Therefore, the edges of the rug do not need edging and the luxuriously soft velour surface is not damaged by the border or overlock stitches.
Some fibers may shed from the cutting edges of this rug type at the beginning of use, but shedding stops over time and does not indicate poor quality of the product.
During the manufacturing process, the cut line may hit the line of the weft yarns, which may result in more intense shedding at one edge of the rug than at the other. However, there is no need to worry, as shedding will decrease during use and the rest of the fibers cover the cut line of the rug.
